Testimonial

To Whom it may concern,

I have known Brother Doug Brown for just under 20 years. Throughout these years, I have been blessed and encouraged by his counsel, messages and writings.

He is passionate in his beliefs. The devotions he writes and the messages he shares are based on God’s truths and clearly align with biblical truths (easily verified by interspersed reference(s) of book and verse of the Bible).

Doug is truly a modern day messenger of God. He is compassionate and caring yet stern and unwavering in his faith.
He is an encourager to those who need encouragement; and an enforcer of biblical reprimand that reconciles the sinner to repentance and fellowship with God and man.

His messages are steeped in his beliefs and knowledge of the Gospel, the Great three in one, God the Creator, Jesus our Savior and the Holy Spirit our Comforter.

The sharing of his knowledge is easy to read and understand. He intersperses truth with real life circumstances in seriousness, but also sometimes interjects just the right amount humor to get the point across.

He has truly been a “real life” encourager, faith builder and godly friend to me.

Frequently Asked Question

What is included in my Chaplain subscription?

All subscriptions include up to weekly counseling sessions with no time limitations.  Additionally, many of our Chaplains also offer email/text messaging support, premium audio/video content, coursework and small group sessions.  During your free session, the Chaplain will further describe their process as it relates to the issues you are experiencing and you can decide if it is a fit for you.

How does telehealth chaplaincy work?

After subscribing, you will get access to the Chaplain’s calendar where you can schedule counseling appointments via phone or Zoom.  Chaplains set open times in their calendars when they are available for appointments and you can book same day or far in advance.  Once booked, you will receive a calendar invite with a conference bridge.  You will also get access to the Chaplain’s premium content and any additional information they provide.

Are discussions confidential?

All discussions with your Chaplain are 100% confidential between you and the Chaplain.  We do not share any data about you with anyone and all Chaplains take an oath to maintain confidentiality and privacy.

Can I subscribe to more than one Chaplain? How do I cancel if unhappy?

Yes, you can subscribe to as many Chaplains as you want. To cancel, simply click “Unsubscribe” in your account portal.

Can I cancel after my first session? Is the first session really free?

Each Kindness Chaplains offers the first session free.  You and the Chaplain will get to know each other and you can decide if you’d like to continue with him or her.

How is a Chaplain different than psychotherapy?

Therapy deals largely with your emotional needs and Chaplains deal with your spiritual and faith needs.
